An answer engine is an AI model that responds to your prompts. KIME lets you choose which engines are active in each workspace, so your data reflects the platforms your customers actually use.

Available engines

You can enable any of these in a workspace:
  • ChatGPT
  • Perplexity
  • Google AI Overview
  • Google AI Mode
  • Gemini
  • Claude
  • DeepSeek
  • Grok
  • Meta AI
  • Copilot Search

Select your models

Open Workspace settings and find Answer Engine Selection. Toggle each model on or off:
  • On: the model runs your prompts and counts toward your metrics.
  • Off: the model is not used for your prompts.

Choosing which to track

  • Match your audience. Prioritize the assistants your customers rely on most in your markets.
  • Compare platforms. Keep several engines active to see where you are strong and where you are invisible. Visibility often varies a lot between models.
  • Filter later. Use the Models filter on most pages to look at one engine at a time.
Changing which models are active affects future runs. Data for a newly enabled model builds up from the day you turn it on.
Keep your most important models enabled consistently so your trend lines stay comparable over time.
