Visibility trend chart

The Visibility Ranking chart provides a chronological view of your brand’s presence in AI responses. While the AI Master Overview shows a current snapshot, this chart illustrates how your visibility fluctuates over your selected date range. This visualization is essential for identifying the long-term impact of your optimization efforts and monitoring sudden drops in performance.

Multi-brand comparison

The chart displays lines for your brand and your selected competitors simultaneously. By hovering over specific data points on the timeline, you can see the exact visibility percentage for each brand on that day. This side-by-side view reveals:
  • Correlations: Whether all brands in your category are gaining or losing visibility due to model updates.
  • Outperformance: Specific periods where your brand gained visibility while competitors remained stagnant or declined.
  • Market shuffles: Shifts in the hierarchy of which brands the AI models prioritize over time.

Interpreting fluctuations

Visibility is rarely a flat line. Small daily fluctuations are normal as AI models update and different sources are prioritized. However, significant spikes or dips typically correlate with specific events:
  • Spikes: Often occur after a brand is featured in a major publication or high-authority website that AI models use as sources.
  • Dips: May indicate that a competitor has optimized their content more effectively or that an AI model has updated its internal ranking logic.

Filtering the timeline

You can refine the Visibility Ranking chart by using the date presets (7 days, 14 days, or 30 days) at the top of the dashboard. Longer timeframes are recommended for identifying seasonal patterns, while the 7-day view is more effective for monitoring the immediate results of a recent campaign or content update.
