Competitive performance table

The Industry Ranking table provides a granular comparison of your brand against your competitors across all core metrics. While the Visibility Ranking chart shows trends over time, this table provides the exact data points for your current selected period. It is the most effective tool for identifying which specific brands are leading the market in visibility, placement, or sentiment.

Metric columns

The table is organized into columns that allow you to benchmark performance across different dimensions:
  • Visibility: The percentage of prompts where the brand was mentioned.
  • Placement: The average ranking position of the brand within the AI responses.
  • Sentiment: The average qualitative score assigned to brand mentions.
  • SOV (Share of Voice): Your percentage of total mentions compared to the entire competitive set tracked in that category.

Sorting and analyzing competitors

You can sort the table by clicking any column header to identify leaders in specific categories. For example, sorting by Placement reveals which brand AI models prioritize as the top recommendation, regardless of their total visibility volume. The table also includes trend indicators (green and red percentages) next to each metric. These show how a brand’s performance has changed compared to the previous period, allowing you to see if a competitor is gaining momentum or losing their position in AI-generated answers.

Strategic insights

Use the Industry Ranking table to find gaps in your own strategy. If a competitor has a high Sentiment score but low Visibility, they are perceived positively but are not being mentioned often enough to capture market share. Conversely, if your brand has high Visibility but a lower Placement than your rivals, you should focus on optimizing your content to improve your ranking within the AI’s response hierarchy.
